Children’s Choir Welcomes Refugees to Canada

A video of Canadian children singing Tala’ al-Badru ‘Alayna, an ancient Arabic song, at their Christmas choir went viral after being interpreted as a welcome to refugees. The song is called “Alhamdoulillah” and was commissioned by choir director Robert Filion over a year ago, and was composed by Laura Hawley. Shot by Maggie Padlewska.
