Protocol of Collaboration
Between ACIJLP & Egyptian Bar
Association
For Training Lawyers in Egyptian
Governorates
Continuation of role of the Arab Center for the Independence of the
Judiciary and the Legal Profession (ACIJLP) in the field of training and
advocacy for lawyers since 1997 through holding training courses for young
lawyers in Cairo, Giza and Al-Qaluobeya (known as Al-Qahera Al-koupra)
which aim at developing professional skills in view of general principles
of human rights. In view of the significance role of the Egyptian Bar
Association in progressing its members’ qualification and independence,
the Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal
Profession by Mr. Nasser Amin, Director General signed a protocol of
collaboration with the Egyptian Bar Association by Mr. Sameh Asou’or,
President of Bar.
In this context, ACIJLP organizes a training program since first of 2004
for three years on “ Strengthening Skills in the Field of Human Right”
for lawyers in Egyptian governorates that funded by
British Global Opportunities Fund (GOF).
These courses include subjects related to legal profession and human
rights such as legal profession is a duty, rights and guarantees for
lawyers in the national and international legislation, using of
international instruments before national courts and skills of
communication and persuasion in the field of legal profession.
Prominent law, psychology and sociology
professors, lawyers and activists in the field of human rights will train
such lawyers. |
