training Courses
Supporting Skills in Human Rights Field
Third Course in Hurghada
Continuation of role of the Arab Center for the Independence of the
Judiciary and the Legal Profession (ACIJLP) in the field of training and
advocacy for lawyers since 1997 through holding training courses for young
lawyers in Cairo, Giza and Al-Qaluobeya (known as Al-Qahera Al-koupra)
which aims at developing professional skills in view of general principles
of human rights.
In this context, ACIJLP organizes a training program since first of 2004
for three years on “ Supporting Skills in the Field of Human Right” for
lawyers in Egyptian governorates that funded by British
Global Opportunities Fund (GOF).
It is scheduled that the third training course will be held in Hurghada
southern east of Egypt for lawyers form Qena and Red See governorates.
Sixty male and female lawyers according to their different categories in
the Egyptian Bar Association will participate in.
These courses include subjects related to legal profession and human
rights such as legal profession is a duty, rights and guarantees for
lawyers in the national and international legislation, using of
international instruments before national courts, skills of communication
and persuasion in the field of legal profession and International
Criminal Court ICC: Mechanism for Protection of Human Rights.
Many law, psychology and sociology professors, senior lawyers and human
rights activists lecture in this training program.
ACIJLP will continue its training activity for lawyers to cover all
governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt. |
